If you’re after a luxury look for your bedding without the price tag, then these pillow protectors from Dunelm come highly recommended.
They’re 100% cotton with an high-class gold beaded edge to them – no coming apart at the seams with these. Excellent quality for the price, especially compared to the ‘Freshnights’ protectors also on the Dunelm website (3* review), these will last you for years and ensure that your pillows stay clean.
I like my pillow protectors to have zips on them – a nice firm zip holds the protector in place and you’re not then battling with floppy covers whenever you change the pillowcase. Zips also have the benefit of ensuring that no naughty bits of down or feather escape if you have natural pillows. These zips are strong and, like the rest of the pillow feels, good quality. They don’t stick into your cheek when you sleep and I reckon they’ll last even if you need to wash them regularly.
There’s no quilting here, so you’ll only get the softness your actual pillow gives you, but these are a good buy for simplicity and a touch of class.
